NABLUS (Ma'an) -- An 8-year-old boy was run over and killed Sunday in a northern West Bank village near Nablus, local sources said.
Fuad Nasser Yasin was hit by a car which swerved seemingly as a result of rain on the road. He was on his way to school in Asira Ash-Shamaliya.
His body was evacuated to Rafedia Hospital in Nablus.
Police said they have opened an investigation.
On Saturday, two Nablus area residents were killed in a car crash and a rock collapse.
