JERICHO (Ma'an) -- Security officers at the Allenby Bridge border crossing recently detained 11 Palestinians wanted on various criminal charges, a weekly police report said Saturday.
None of the suspects were named and it was not clear what the charges were.
Crossings officials reported a decline in the number of travelers at the border between the West Bank and Jordan during the week.
Border officers registered 6,418 entering the West Bank and 7,677 leaving for Jordan, while 21 Palestinians left the West Bank for medical treatment abroad.
