Somalia: PM Flies to Saudi Arabia

High delegation led by the transitional government prime minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharma'arke has flown to Saudi Arabian kingdom, just as a conference for Somali matters is due to be held in Saudi Arabia, officials said on Monday.

TFG officials said that the prime minister and his delegation left from the international airport of Aden Adde in Mogadishu adding that the delegation would attend a conference on Somalia that is due to take place in the Saudi Arabia on the following Thursday.

Reports say that conference will be held by the Somali international contact group in Saudi Arabia and will be talked more Somali matters.

Sources close to the government told Shabelle radio that the prime minister will meet official interesting Somali affairs in Kenya before direction to Saudi Arabia.

What will comes out from the conference is unclear, but some of the transitional government officials told Shabelle radio that they expected good hope.
