Mauritanian president heads to Copenhagen climate summit

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz arrived in Copenhagen on Tuesday (December 15th) to attend COP15, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, ANI reported. The Nouakchott daily noted that Mauritania is particularly vulnerable to major environmental change, including the advancing desert and the threat to the coastal protection cordon.
