Use of force can't prevent liberation movement: Yasmeen Raja

Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference and Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz Jammu and Kashmir, Yasmeen Raja has said that the occupation authorities couldn’t prevent the people of Jammu and Kashmir from their liberation struggle through use of brute force.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Yasmeen Raja in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the killing of Zubair Ahmad, a Kashmiri student, by the troops. “The troopers had also killed Ahasnul Haq, brother of Zubair Ahmad four years back,” she added.

Strongly condemning the massive human rights violation by Indian troops in the occupied territory, she appealed the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take notice and put pressure on India to stop state terrorism in the occupied territory.

The APHC leader denounced the conviction of Hurriyet leader, Farida Behenji by a Delhi court in a false case. She said that India was harassing the people of Kashmir to suppress the freedom movement but it would never succeed in its nefarious designs.

Yasmeen Raja expressed serious concern over the continued illegal detention of APHC senior leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and said that the day was not far away when the people of Jammu and Kashmir would get rid of Indian bondage.

She also expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of a renowned Islamic scholar, Dr Israr Ahmad who passed away in Lahore and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
