Jerusalem (Earth Times) - Israel issued an unusually urgent warning to its citizens in the Sinai peninsula Tuesday evening to return home immediately amid a threat of possible kidnapping.
The anti-terrorism office warned Israelis of the danger of an "immediately planned kidnapping" in the region.
"We call on all Israelis who are now in the Sinai to return to Israel immediately," it said.
Relatives should immediately get in touch with their family members who might now traveling as tourists in the region, it also urged.
Earlier, the Israeli military denied unconfirmed reports of a kidnapping of an Israeli soldier in the Sinai.
