Sakhir, Bahrain (Earth Times) - Paris-based Europe Aviation said Friday that it has obtained approval to perform Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft line maintenance at Khartoum airport in Sudan. The announcement was made on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) 2010, being held at the Sakhir Air Base, south of the Bahraini capital Manama.

The independent maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider - which service both Airbus and Boeing aircraft - also said that it would also soon extend its capabilities to Boeing B737 and B777 aircraft in Khartoum.
