French wind turbine manufacturer Vergnet will build Algeria's first wind firm, after beating rival MAN Ferrostaal of Germany to win the tender, APS reported on Thursday (January 21st). The wind farm in the south-western province of Adrar will generate 10MW of active power. The project cost is estimated at 30 million euros.
