Two killed, 22 injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 5 : Two people, including a minor, were killed and 22 others were injured in overnight road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today.

They said a passenger vehicle turned turtle at Devsar in Kulgam district of south Kashmir resulting in on the spot death of one person and injuries to 19 others. The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said.

A boy Ubaid Gani Dar was killed on the spot when he fell down from tractor at Kathpora Bandipora.

Two people were injured when their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at Sheerpora in Kulgam. The injured Ishfaq Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Abbas Mir were admitted to hospital, they said.

They said a pedestrian Mohammad Younis Bajran, a resident of Bihar was hit and injured by a vehicle at Waheedpora crossing in Ganderbal. He was hospitalized.
