Some 10,000 children in Switzerland raised 500,000 Swiss francs to benefit their peers in Mauritania, ANI reported on Wednesday (April 14th). The money will be used to buy school supplies for 25,900 children in 154 Mauritanian schools, program organizer UNICEF announced. The Swiss children responsible for the most innovative fund-raising strategies will be honored in Zurich on April 24th.
