6.0-magnitude earthquake kills five in eastern Turkey

An earthquake of 6.0-magnitude has killed five people in the eastern Turkish village of Okcular in Elazig Province, the governor of the province said.

Turkey's Kandilli earthquake observatory said the quake measured 6.0-magnitude and had its epicenter at Basyurt-Karakocan and struck at 4:32 am local time (0232 GMT) on Monday.
