2 young boys injured in Nowshera blast

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two young brothers were critically injured in an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by Indian troops in Rajouri district.

The boys, Nissar Ahmed (7) and Liaqat (8) were critically injured in the explosion when they were grazing their cattle at Talka in Nowshera town of the district. Both the injured were rushed to Government Medical College Jammu in serious condition.

The local people told media men that an Artillery battalion of Indian army had been camping in the area and was recently shifted to another place. “The troops left behind some explosive, which caused the accident,” they added.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others were injured in road accidents at Gunderpora Safakadal in Srinagar and Pahloo chowk in Kulgam.
