The case of Tunisian journalist Taoufik Ben Brik, currently serving a six-month prison sentence for assault, will be heard by a Tunis appellate court on Saturday, AFP quoted his wife as saying on Tuesday (January 19th). Azza Zarrad voiced hope that her husband, said to be severely ill, would be released. Zarrad began a hunger strike on January 6th to draw international attention to her husband's case.
