Voter registration begins in Tunisia

Tunisia on Monday (July 11th) began voter registration for the October 23rd constitutional assembly elections, TAP reported. More than 2,000 people were trained to assist in the registration process, electoral panel chief Kamel Jendoubi said. The overall number of voters is expected to reach 7.9 million. Tunisians residing abroad will also have the opportunity to vote, Jendoubi said.
