LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Late actor Robin Williams has reportedly been cremated and his ashes scattered over San Francisco Bay.
Radar Online reports the actor's death certificate, which is dated August 20, states that Williams died in his Tiburon, California home on August 11 and was cremated the following day. The document also says the Good Will Hunting star worked as an "actor and comedian" for 43 years.
Preliminary reports of the actor's death revealed he was found clothed, "suspended slightly above the ground" in a seated position with a belt around his neck and acute cuts on his left wrist on August 11. While the investigation is ongoing Marin County Sheriff's Lt. Keith Boyd reaffirmed that Williams likely died of "suicide due to asphyxia."
The actor's wife Susan Schneider revealed days after his death that Williams had been diagnosed with early Parkinson's disease and was sober at the time of his death.
Wiliams is survived by Schneider, his third wife, and his three children Zelda, Zachary and Cody.
