Dr. Mohammed Badie, Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), affirmed that the unity of the Arab/Islamic nation has become the first bulwark against US-Zionist schemes afoot to divide Sudan, and the rest of the Arab world.
In his weekly message entitled: "The fragmentation of Sudan and the Nation's unity," he stressed that "the Islamic nation has lost hope in their leaders, who willingly or unwillingly succumbed to US-Zionist schemes, and followed their footsteps. People have lost their glory and dignity and felt offended when rulers voluntarily gave up their control to their enemy.
The MB chairman added: "People are the cornerstone in the edifice of the state, and their youth are loyal soldiers at times of woes and wars, despite desperate attempts to obliterate their identity, and prevent them from performing their assigned role, while putting a siege to their ideas and preventing them from expressing their will freely."
"Signing the Arab joint defense agreement is now binding to guarantee the safety of the Arabs, enhance security and deter or defeat aggression," he explained, noting that the Convention is ineffective because the common defense and protection of the homeland from external threats are not in the priorities of the autocratic Arab regimes, whose top priorities are to retain their power and position, use violence against their own people and maintain so-called stability."
"The Arab armies have become lion's cages that cannot find an enemy to fight because he does not know the identity of his real enemy and the Arabs are not against the Zionists and the United States, and there is no political will to revive the joint Arab defense agreement. Accordingly, we do not hear about a meeting of Arab defense ministers since it was signed, while meetings of the Arab information and interior ministers are periodically repeated as they convene to oppress the innocent."
The techniques of deception, forgery, fraud and deceit are widely practiced and are still practiced by Arab regimes and this has been exposed. People take steps toward regaining their usurped rights, pride and dignity. Desperate defense of land in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine proves that the Arab/Islamic peoples are awakening and people's will is stronger than all the plots hatched against them. Free people are defending their dignity, willing to live a decent life, and insisting on regaining their rights and their freedom.
