The last section of Algeria's 428-km Algiers-Oran highway opened Thursday (April 29th). Oran can now be reached in less than four hours from Algiers, Algerian Public Works Minister Amar Ghoul said at the opening ceremony in Zahana. The project, part of Algeria's East-West Highway, was completed in record time, Ghoul said.
