Islamic State of Iraq: Media lie about circumstances of martyrdom of al-Baghdadi and al-Masri

A statement issued for the Islamic Ummah by the Ministry of Religious Committees of the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI), signed by the Minister of ISI (Minister of Religious Committees of the Islamic State of Iraq) Abul-Waleed Abdul-Wahhab Al-Mash'hadani about the martyrdom of ISI's head Emir-ul-Mu'minin Abu Umar al-Baghdadi and a war minister if ISI Sheikh Abu Hamza al-Muhajir (al-Masri), has been posted on the Internet. The statement says inter alia:

"We also comfort the people of truth amongst the Muslims, east and west, especially the leaders and scholars of Jihad in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Arabian Peninsula, Somalia, the Islamic Maghreb, and Al-Sham, and we will never forget the delight of our eyes in the honorable and defiant Caucasus, and also the Philippines, Indonesia and Nigeria.

We comfort them by informing them that the leadership of the Islamic State of Iraq, Allah willing, is in strong and trustworthy hands, and its affairs have been decided and are under control.

As for the details of this event, those who have taken lies as their religion have indeed lied once again. The Crusaders and their slaves vie with each other to portray the event to their own advantage. The truth of the matter is that the Leader of the Believers, may Allah have mercy on him, had arrived at a guesthouse in the area. He was receiving some guests to decide on some matters of the State.

The Prime Minister, Abu Hamzah Al-Muhajir had also attended. When the invading forces arrived, the defense squad engaged them in a firefight, forcing them to retreat.

They did not dare to enter the area again, and they never set foot in the area until the cowards carried out air strikes against various targets, from them the guesthouse. After they were sure that it was totally destroyed and that all those in it had been killed, they were surprised to find the two Sheikhs from amongst the killed. This is their habitude: they are more ignoble and base than to confront the people of Tawheed like men, how could they confront the brave Sheikh, the Leader of the Believers, [Abu Umar] Al-Qureishi Al-Baghdadi and the Lion of Islam, Abu Hamzah Al-Muhajir?"

It is to be mentioned that Western media are acting rather slyly and subtly. They use biased brief summaries, full of hatred towards Islam, of statements, fabricated by an anti-Islamic structure SITE Intelligence Group in Washington D.C., led by a certain Rita Katz, and pretend that they are unable to read the original text in Arabic, like the Kavkaz Center reads.

In her biased summary, Rita Katz, of course, omits all contents, which is politically incorrect for the west. But Rita Katz is nobody and nothing but Rita Katz, and not esteemed media. So at the end, nobody happens to be responsible for the lies. Ordinary consumers of Western media do not surely notice such subtleties.

In this case, however, it is not the "summary" fabricated by Rita Katz that has been refuted, but Western media reports referring to occupiers dated 18 April that in a sudden air strike, they managed to kill the leaders of ISI, without any reference to the previous battle, in which "crusaders and their puppet Shiite sectarians were defeated".

It is also to be mentioned that al-Masri (Hamzah al-Muhajir) was not an outside figure fighting on behalf of al-Qaeda in Iraq. He was the official war minister in the government of the Islamic State of Iraq.
