Japan gave Morocco $7.4m to build a clean energy project in the southern region of Assa-Zag, MENAfn reported on Thursday (January 28th). The donation will fund the construction of a solar energy plant and the training of technicians. This is Morocco's first energy plant using photovoltaic cells.
