Dragon Boating has only become a popular sport in Iran for the past four years, yet Iranian boaters have been able to prove their potential as future players in the world.
Mike Haslam, President of the International Dragon Boat Federation told Press TV on Friday that he has been impressed by the progress the Iranians have made in the field.
He said he was amazed by the quality of matches held in the country's fourth national championships in Azadi Stadium.
