Iran and Turkey have signed two agreements that would further enhance the level of energy ties between the two neighboring countries.
Iranian Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz signed a memorandum of understanding in the natural gas sector in Tehran on Wednesday.
The two countries have also signed another memorandum of understanding for their cooperation in construction of power plants, IRNA reported.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Tehran at the helm of a senior Turkish delegation on Monday night for a three-day official visit.
